Our Spring 2024 calendar is full but we are still able to book Nighttime Observatory experiences and Self-Guided daytime visits without add-ons. To book either of these programs please email programs@snco.org.

Reservations & Cancellation Policy

To see our availability and to schedule a field trip visit or classroom program, please use our new online booking system here:

Book a Field Trip

For questions on programs or for any booking issues please contact the Education Department at 458-292-9995 or by email: programs@snco.org.

Reservations are recommended at least one month prior to your requested visit/program date. Reservations can be made up to nine months in advance. If a program or field trip visit is cancelled due to inclement weather, Education staff will work with you to reschedule.


Financial Assistance & Scholarships

Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory is committed to making sure that all schools and organizations have the opportunity to visit our campus or engage in our educational programming. Financial assistance, including program fee and admission discounts and transportation scholarships are available for qualifying schools and organizations. COVID-19 Policies

All SNCO staff are fully vaccinated and following all Bend-La Pine School District guidelines for on-site and at-your-school visitors. SNCO is a Children’s Forest of Central Oregon Partner, a program of the High Desert Education Service District, and has permission from Bend-LaPine School District for at-your-school programming.
