A little about the presenter

Ander Rhoads is an eighth-grade homeschooler passionate about the quest for scientific facts relating to historically mythologized and persecuted animals.  He lives in Central Oregon.  Ander has been lucky enough to spend a week in Yellowstone with the wolf biologist and author Rick McIntyre.  His current mentors include wolf biologists in ODFW and US Fish and Wildlife.  Ander has authored an article on wolves in the Nugget Newspaper and presented on wolves for schools and other organizations, including Oregon State Parks.  Ander is also an enthusiastic volunteer with the High Desert Museum and Sunriver Nature Center.

Join us at 5:00 p.m. to meet the presenter and enjoy some light refreshments prior to the lecture.

This in-person event will take place at Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory’s Pozzi Education building. Located at 57245 River Road, off circle 3.

For cancellations received more than five business days prior to the program date, a full refund, minus a 20% cancellation fee, will be issued. Refunds and exchanges will not be issued for missed programs, cancellations made five or fewer business days prior to the program date, or for programs with registration fees less than $10. No partial refunds, credits, or exchanges will be offered for unattended sessions in a program series.
