DAYTIME VISIT

Extended Spring Break Hours

SNCO will be open everyday, 10am-3pm, from April 8th-14th.During this week we will have daily animal talks at 12:00pm included with day admission.

Nature Center – Wednesday-Sunday | 10am – 3pm

(Closed Monday and Tuesday)

Observatory Solar Viewing – Wednesday-Sunday | 11am – 2pm – Included with Nature Center Admission

SNCO Members: Free

Daytime admission is walk-in. Reservations required at night.

Daytime visits include the nature center, live animal exhibits, botanic garden, nature trail, and daily activities. Observatory daytime visits are included in daytime admission from 11am – 2pm.

NIGHTTIME VISIT

Nighttime Observatory Hours (Spring)

Public Experiences – In-Depth Observatory Program
Wednesday & Saturday |9:00 – 11:00pm

Public Nighttime Admission: Adult – $35, Youth $29

1-Hour Private Star Parties
Tuesdays and Fridays | starting at 9pm and 10:15pm

Private Nighttime Admission: Starts at $300

Nighttime visits include night sky viewing through various telescopes, a guided constellation tour, meteorites displays, and an educational presentation.

Reduced & Free Admission

Reduced or free admission is available for Veterans, Active Military and their families, Oregon Trail Card holders, ASTC members, and SROA members. For more information, email: info@snco.org or call: 541-593-4394.

While visiting SNCO, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Masks are welcome, but not required. Please note, SNCO procedures and policies can change at any time.
  • If you are ill, please stay home. If you are experiencing respiratory or other common symptoms of COVID-19, or have had a fever recently, we ask that you stay home and visit another time.


For the best experience possible while visiting us, we ask that you:

  • Bring your own full water bottle. A water refill station is available in the Nature Center.
  • Please call ahead for Service Animal accommodation. Service Animals are welcome on the Osgood Nature Trail and in the Observatory. If Service Animals need accommodation inside the Nature Center or Botanic Garden, please call ahead and a Wildlife Care staff member will be glad to assist you. Contact 541-593-4394 or info@snco.org for more information or accommodation.
  • Leave pets at home. Dogs, except service animals, are not permitted in facilities. For the safety of our resident animals and wildlife, we strongly discourage visiting SNCO trails with any non-service dog. All dogs must be leashed at all times.
